Our Team
Our promise to you is that we will listen to your story and treat the whole body, as the pelvic floor is an integral component of a much larger system. We cannot wait to educate you on it! Sometimes your symptoms will stem from areas outside the pelvis itself. We also have knowledge as physical therapists to treat a variety of other joints as well.
Hi Friends, I’m Bree, founder and owner of Luna Physio, pelvic health physical therapist extraordinaire of 17 years. I received my doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Utah in 2007. My journey into physical therapy and this niche is a little different than some (although, I’ve treated myself for a lot of these issues as well….trust me). I went into PT in general because I loved science and the medical field, but I did not like blood! My journey into pelvic health began with a job treating spines and being the only female in my clinic they scheduled all the pregnant ladies with me. I quickly gained experience and knowledge working with pregnancy related complaints which led me to get more training in pelvic health. Now pelvic health is my jam, my love, my passion. It is my mission to empower women during pregnancy and postpartum (which once postpartum, always postpartum) and challenge what we have accepted as normal (ahem, peeing your pants, painful sex, whatever it may be)! It’s not normal. It’s dysfunctional!
I am also a breast cancer survivor and have first hand knowledge in treating women with struggles and rehab during a cancer journey.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four kids, reading, hiking, skiing, playing on the water, watching movies, dancing, or crafting.
Hi there! I’m Sarah, and I am so honored to be your pelvic health physical therapist! Since graduating with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, I have made it my mission to be a champion for pelvic health within the field of physical therapy and the greater medical community. My own personal experiences with a pelvic pain condition organically peaked my interest into this specialty while I was still on my student clinical rotations, and I haven’t looked back since! The past near-decade of my professional career has been dedicated to not only gaining clinical expertise but advanced training and education that awarded me an additional certification, CAPP-Pelvic, which has been awarded to less than 600 therapists globally. I am incredibly committed to the craft and genuinely passionate about assisting in your healing journey and finding answers, getting to the root of the problem. I am excited to continue to be a pioneer for our speciality and help you live your best life! Now let’s get started!
Originally from Nebraska, I am a Midwesterner at heart and an avid Husker fan- Go Big Red! Since moving to Cache Valley in 2019 for my husband’s job, we have become adopted Aggies, too! When not in the clinic, I enjoy all things outdoors, including hiking and trapshooting, attending all kinds of sporting events with my husband, traveling and trying new foods/restaurants, reading, and spending time snuggling with my three adorable pets.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP
After your initial appointment is scheduled you will receive new patient paperwork via email. It is required to complete prior to your first visit in order to allow your therapist time to prepare for your evaluation. Arrive on time to your appointment in comfortable clothing - ideally; exercise shorts/leggings and a t-shirt. (Minimize layers as much as possible). Your first visit depends highly on your needs and where you are in your journey, but you can expect a comprehensive assessment of your back, hips, pelvis, pelvic floor (as needed and when you are feeling ready), and movement. We will discuss your goals and an initial treatment plan to get you back to living your best life.
You can expect an internal exam, but that may not always be the case. Your therapist will check the pelvic floor internally because that is the only way to get the most accurate knowledge of structure and function. Not all patients need or are ready for this, so we may use external techniques first. Please communicate your comfort level so we can provide the best care. It is extremely important that nothing is forced, or rushed by anyone involved in your care. You will never be asked to do something you are not comfortable with. Not every appointment requires internal work unless that is part of your program.
Yes! We want to avoid gaps in your care. However, if you are uncomfortable, we can make adjustments. If you are having increased pain, or difficulty relaxing, we can work in different ways. Take note that it may be valuable to see what your organ function is doing if your complaints involve painful menstruation. We can help you work with your body.
Our physical therapists are trained with expertise in anatomy, movement assessments, and exercise prescription based on any impairments or pain you might be facing. We can provide effective treatments for pain in any joint - head to toe!
We are not contracted or "in-network" with insurance and we have reasons for that. Unfortunately insurance really limits our abilities to provide the best care for you. They don’t have your best interests at heart, but we do. This also helps us to reduce overall cost. Some insurance plans include “out of network” coverage. This is typically a percentage that your insurance company will reimburse directly to you. You will need to submit documentation to them, which we provide for you at no additional cost.
You may use HSA/FSA cards for your PT visits.
If you are willing to use cash for massage, lashes, a hair appointment, acupuncture, gym membership, which are all valuable, why not for skilled, one-on-one, doctoral level care? What is your quality of life worth? What would you pay to be able to do what you love again, be out of pain, or be “normal”? YOU are worth it! Your HEALTH is worth it! We understand that there are many financial situations, and do not want this to deter you from the care you need. All costs will be discussed up front. No surprises. If you have difficulty with the cost for visits, we are happy to discuss options with you.
The cost of the initial evaluation is $185. Follow up visits are $156!
